Hello, The folks at some sites I belong to have been discussing the need for a site dedicated to teachers. No doubt, such a site will discuss much more than teachers, but will expand to become a celebration of school days in south central Kentucky. I volunteered to start such a site, and so I want you to know about it. I hope you will join us and, especially, post your old photos of school groups and teachers. Also, share your memories of your teachers. We'd like biographies of them and anecdotes. Our new site is called CELEBRATION OF SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY SCHOOL DAYS, and it is a free, private site at MyFamily.com. Photos, especially group photos, will be the heart of what we want to accomplish at our school days site. We want to find as many group photos as possible to post and compare against earlier and later photos from that same school--in hopes of identifying all the students in those pictures. Indeed, our ultimate goal is to create an encyclopedia of school photos from south central Kentucky. Wouldn't it be great to have these available at every museum and library around?
