    1. [KYMONROE] HANNAH BOONE MARKER TO BE DEDICATED
    2. Hannah Boone (1746 - 1828), wife of Richard Pennington (c1752 - 1813), lived in the Tompkinsville, KY area late in their lives, around Mill Creek. They worshipped at Old Mulkey Meetinghouse, where their "preacher" friends from North Carolina, John and Phillip Mulkey led services. As descendants and Pennington family, we are dedicating a memorial marker to Hannah Boone at the Old Mulkey Meetinghouse State Historical Park on: Saturday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. ANYONE IS INVITED TO THIS EVENT This will coordinate with the dedication events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the restoration of the historical cemetery and park, which has been accomplished during these past two years. Any cousins and kin who want to join us for dinner the evening of Friday, April 25, may do so. Just let me know you are interested as we complete plans. Anyone who wishes to participate in the cost of this $1500 bronze marker may send their contribution to me at the address below. Each one will receive a photo and brochure for their family archives after this dedication. Hannah was originally interred at the Mill Creek Baptist Church, and we want to honor her memory with this bronze marker. Nell - PRA Member, Group IV J.
