Thanks so much for your offer to help, My great grandfather Andrew Jackson Harris was born Sept 1858, in the census his age isnt always correct. his wife was Margare Ellen Blythe b: May 1869 her age usually isnt right in census either and she is the daughter of Allen Alford Blythe son of Margaret "Peggy" Blythe and David Blythe, Margaret and Andrews kids were Sarah "Belle" Harris b: 1886 m; Wm Young, Elmore Harris b: 1887 m: Myrtle Scott, William B. Harris b: 1888 m:?, John Harris b: 1892 m:Cora Coulter and Lela Ann Gray, Tim Clurie Harris b: 1898 was said to have married a Laney and had two daughters and a fever or something that was killing people in that area killed the wife and one daughter and the other daughter was said to have been raised by the grandfather Laney who at one time moved to Florida, not sure what happen to the daugther but heard she took the name Laney. next child of Andrew and Margaret was Thomas Bedford Harris b: 1901 m: Edith Whittaker, twins Della and Zora b: 1905, Della m: Mike Cornelius and Zora m: Raymond Locke. Margaret is a sister to Kezzie Shearls from Cumberland Co. m: Thomas Shearls. also Lidia "Liddie" Blythe, ALexander Blythe, Sarah N. Blythe and Haggard and Pelton Blythe. Andrews Death certificate says his father was David and no mothers name is given. I am stuck on him now for about 7 years, according to death cert and census he was born in Tn and his parents born Va.
