Formerly of Monroe County, Ky Living together as a family in Johnson Co., Tx. in 1870 Any information appreciated. From census John P. is Hotel Keeper. Mary is keeping house. I recognize several Monroe County names on census. Does anyone know why they went to Johnson Co. Tx.? I knew there was a migration to Grayson Co., but this is the first I knew of one to Johnson.
