    3. I recently read a Subject Line pertaining to Sartain, however the text did not... Such a case reminded me that I have a couple of Sartain (et vars). Purely a test probe. Thomas N. CLARK to Elizabeth SARTAIN Mar. 2, 1843, Barren County KY William Winchester CLARK, the child of Joseph CLARK and Elizabeth Dunn PACE was born October 20, 1818, in Kentucky, married Caroline SARTIN, January 4, 1844, and had 3 children, died January 16, 1853, and was buried at the old Sartin place, better known as the Baldock-Shirley Cemetery, two miles NW of Summer Shade, Metcalfe County, Kentucky. (One researcher says William married Mary A. Carver in 1847.) Caroline Sartin CLARK married Stephen B. WHITE and moved to Paris, Edgar County, Illinois, where she and two daughters died, leaving one living. Children were Malissa D. CLARK, born ca. 1846, Sarah E. CLARK, born ca. 1850, and Cordelia A. CLARK, born ca. 1852. Thomas Nunn CLARK, the child of Joseph CLARK and Elizabeth Dunn PACE was born January 29, 1823, in Kentucky, married Elizabeth SARTIN, March 2, 1843, in Barren County, Kentucky. Elizabeth SARTIN was a sister to Caroline SARTIN and was born January 4, 1824, died August 6, 1900. Thomas Nunn CLARK died September 10, 1894. He, his wife, and eight children were buried at the Petty Cemetery, now known as Clark-Obe Franklin cemetery, two miles NW of Summer Shade, Metcalfe County, Kentucky, off the road to Randolph. Elizabeth CLARK was born January 4, 1824, died August 6, 1900, and was buried at Clark-Obe Franklin Cemetery. If these are of interest to you, I would like to talk/type with you. John D.
