Since there was no Monroe Co in 1805, they were married in Barren Co, one of the parent counties of Monroe (formed 1820). Their marriage license is no longer available but has been recorded: Daniel Pennington to Esther Frailey, bond 14 Aug 1805, sureties by William Stewert, consent of her father, Christopher Frailey.
