Hello, I have decided to start a private, free website for people interested in contributing stories about south-central Kentucky legends, characters, events. Members will be expected to contribute, not just enjoy reading the pieces. Perhaps you or someone in your family would be interested in this project. The goal is to eventually publish an anthology of stories on the south-central Kentucky area. That includes Hart, Edmonson, Monroe, Barren and other counties in the area. History, folklore, even some personal memoirs will be included. This should be fun for the contributors--whether or not we ever get an anthology to press. Worried that you "can't write"? No problem, just tell your stories as you would to a friend. There will be writer's tips posted, too. We need folks to contribute and help fill in the gaps of other's memories.
