Thank you Doug. I am looking for the burial of Grace McMillin Bailey, and Ellen McMillin Bailey. Grace would be wife of William Bailey, b. 1794 S.C.son of William and Elizabeth Robertson Bailey. Recently proven thru death certicates obtained on their son William Jackson Bailey, born in Monroe county in 1833. Grace was not in the Kansas territory with William and his boys in 1855 or after, he was in Platte Co. Mo. in 1846 and is buried in Hudespeth Cemetery in Rushville, Buchanan County Mo. But Grace is not there. Ellen McMillin Bailey would be the first wife of John P. Bailey b. 1804 in S.C., son of Martin and Susannah Bailey. He has a proven son named Newton and Milton. Ellen McMillin came back as mother on death certificate of Milton. She died prior to 1838, when he married Barthena Bailey a cousin. WE know they somehow come from Daniel McMillins line, but do not know who. We suspect that Grace's mother is Grace McMillin listed on 1820 census of Monroe County, but do not know who her husband might have been. If anyone has any info. we would love it. If anyone could tell us where we might look to find them we would appreciate. Thanks in Advance Jeanette Bailey Independence, Mo.
