I can't come visit SCKY, as much as I would like to. My Page ancestors were among the early settlers of Monroe and Cumberland Co's. arriving about 1815 or so. I've heard so much about the "Persimmon" Pages, and that area. My branch of the Pages moved on to MO after hiring Boone's son to survey there. I'd just like to see and gawk. I bet I'm not alone in my curiousity. Of course I'm interested in the area in general, landmarks, the old homes if any, cemeteries where Pages are, the church they attended, etc., where they farmed, whether any Pages still live there, etc. I bet someone could make a small fortune if they could get a 1-2 hr videotape put together with commentary by someone knowledgeable having relevant historical and genealogical knowledge. Of course I'm most interested in where the Pages were but the videotape should be more general, maybe mentioning various settlers, and of course showing how it is now. I bet there are teachers thereabouts who would gladly proctor a senior project like this. Could lead to interesting discussions at the historical society as to what to include, etc. I understand Monroe Co. has formed a hist society. Dan
