There is a Germany Church of Christ located at Hestland in Monroe county. The church began in a log building that was the Germany school. As I understand, this log building was built as the school but was used for church services by the Church of Christ and the Methodist alternating Sundays. A new school was built and name changed to Bradley Springs during W.W.I because we were at war with Germany. The Methodist wanted more use of the building and built a new church about a mile further out hwy. 163. The Church of Christ also built the church they are now using.
