I was at Salt Lake city last week at the Family History Library. Their records for Monroe Co., KY do not include land records, at least for the earlier years. Are they available anywhere? I've been researching the William Gates family in Barren and Monroe counties and I can find them in census and tax records, but need land records to continue the search. Any suggestions?
