    1. Joseph White family -- circa 1830's - 40's
    2. I am new to the list and would like to post my interests. I am researching a WHITE family which I believe lived in Monroe County, KY, between about 1828 (or before) and 1850. The obit of one of the children fixes the area as around Tompkinsville. By 1850, they had moved to Pulaski County, MO, and may have also lived in Hickory, Jackson, and/or Morgan County, MO. Nine of the children moved to Douglas County, KS, in 1854 or 1855. Here is the way the family appears in the 1850 MO census: White, Joseph b. ca 1800 in TN Salina b. ca 1810 in KY Samuel b. ca 1828 in KY James S. b. ca 1830 in KY Arina b. ca 1832 in KY Harrison b. 1833 in Tompkinsville, KY Sarah E. b. 1835 in KY Austin b. ca 1838 in KY Wilford b. ca 1841 in KY Mary J. b. ca 1845 in KY Eliza Ann F. b. 1847 in KY Joseph b. 1853 in MO Some thoughts: Salina may be a second wife; Arina may be the wife of one of the sons, by the 1880's, Eliza Ann was appearing as Allida Ann and/or Allida Taylor. If anyone has any information about any member of this family, I would love to hear from you. I am very willing to share information. Sharon
