    3. OOps im sorry i sent this to the wrong address first time. While visiting in Monroe Co. Ky this fall i was told a story by a family member i met there and hope some one may have some knowledge of the people involved. My Great grandfathers name was Andrew Jackson Harris b: Sept 7, 1858, his wife was Margaret Blythe b: May 1869, they had several children, Elmore who married Murt Scott from Adair Co. Belle who married a William Young from Monroe Co. John who married Cora Coulter and Lela Gray, William married Nanny Belle Hayes, Tim married a Laney, Thomas Bedford married Edith Whittaker, Zora married Raymond Locke, Della married Mike Cornelius. The story i got from my cousin in Monroe Co. is that Tim Harris married this Laney, probably some time before 1930 and they had two daughters. there was a sickness that came through that area and Tims wife and one of the daughters died. Tim wasnt able to take care of a small daughter and the daughter was sent to live with her grandfather, who was called Polk Laney. Polk lived in Center point township in the Turkey Neck bend area in the early 1900s I found him on census there. He had a son named Thomas Bedford, this is interesting because my grandfather was named the same thing but of course he was a Harris. My cousin also told me its possible that Polk moved to Florida and that he wasnt sure if the daughter was grown or not by this time. I would just like to clarify this story for my own genealogy. Does any one know any of these people or what ever happened to the daughter? if so please contact me. Thanks, Carla Harris -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
