Hi, I have just come across a marriage record in Monroe Co: Louis Wheeler m Sarah M Silvey Jan 15 1865 Pretty much all of my Wheelers came out of Monroe Co Ky and this Louis Wheeler is likely one of 2 men: either Lewis Wheeler b abt 1792 in TN and was married to Rhody Gentry (she died abt 1849/50); OR Lewis Wheeler b abt 1840 in Monroe Co. This second Lewis Wheeler is the grandson of the first one (his father being James Wheeler). The elder Lewis Wheeler died abt 1869 in MC. Does anyone have information about Sarah Silvey? Is there anyone on the list familiar with the surname Silvey from MC? The source of this marriage record was : Dodd, Jordan, comp. Kentucky Marriages, 1851-1900 (database online @ Ancestry.com).
