Ruth, I think I said or meant to say that it was possible they came earlier. Grandma Huldah was born 1859 and the border business came up in 1858. I think Judy's records show Huldah born in Hart County, so their sojourn in Monroe County and the final move to Hart County would have had to have been before 1858. There is a sprinkling of Hunters in Breckenridge County, and in East Kentucky that go back much farther than 1858, and though I don't have the connection, I am sure some of them are in our line....just don't know which ones.
