They go back to the BACONS, STRICKLERS, ELSEAS, MITCHELLS, of Washington Co., Tenn. Do you know anything about the James MITCHELL and Catherine BACON family of Monroe Co., Ky? They also were from Washington Co., Tenn. showing up on the 1850 Washington Co., Tenn. Census. Their daughter, Katherine "Katy" MITCHELL, married to John Oscar THOMAS.
