Do any of you have any idea why so many families moved from Washington Co., Tn to Monroe Co. Ky? I have several lines that follow the same migration pattern. My Page family was in Washington Co.,Tn in 1840 then show up in Ky in 1850. My Golden Family were in Washington Co., Tn until 1846/47. I see that the Pitcock family followed the same migration pattern as well. I am seeking information on the parentage of Nathan Page born about 1837 in Tn. Elizabeth Page b. abt 1821 in Tn, Catherine Page (mother of Nathan I believe) b. in Tn about 1810. I am also researching the parentage of John Golden b. abt 1805/1808 who married Sarah Pitcock b. 1812 in Washington Co. Tn, married 8-1-1835. thanks for any help.
