Dear group, I am working on this line of Vaughan's found in Monroe County KY in 1810 and 1820. I believe they are related to a Obediah Vaughan in Barren County KY in 1810. I am hoping this Obediah Vaughan is my 4th great grandfather I have been looking for him for years. Any help on land records, marriage, tax records and ect will be helpful. I have a feeling they were in and out of the 15 mile dispute between TN and KY on the TN northern state line back then. Obediah Vaughan 1810 Barren County KY (Monroe County was still part of Barren County KY in 1810) Samuel Vaughan 1810 Monroe County KY Obediah Vaughan Jr 1820 Monroe County KY Benjamin Vaughan 1820 Monroe County KY Samuel Vaughan 1820 Monroe County KY William Vaughan 1820 Monroe County KY These people above may have possible ties to: John D Vaughan (b.1790 VA) found in 1820 Smith (Macon) County TN (Son of a Obediah Vaughn out of VA or Kentucky County VA) Leticia Vaughan 1820 Smith (Macon) County TN (May be related to John D Vaughan above) Thanks and Good Luck on all your family searches!!!
