He was born in 1872 in Fountain Run and died 7 Mar 1949 in Lincoln, Logan Co., IL. They had two sons, Harry and Ralph Dial. I knew Ralph because he was one of my Grandpa's best friends. MY gr-grandfather, Ambrose's brother, Joseph Robert Dial, married Katherine Alice Garmon (b. 15 May 1881 in Fountain Run and d. 31 Aug 1956 in Lincoln, IL). Katherine's mother is Melissa Ann Gosnell--where I connected with you before! Isn't this fun! Diana, "Katherine Alice Garmon (b. 15 May 1881 in Fountain Run and d. 31 Aug 1956" I'm a descendant of Isaac Garmon of Fountain Run, but don't know his family particulars--just his daughter, Nancy Garmon Hurt(t), who married John Hurt(t), of Cumberland County.
