Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late William and Nannie Lee Noel Graham. She was the widow of Stewart Wash. She was a retired bookkeeper for the State Department of Agriculture, a member of the Salvisa Baptist Church, Capital First Ladies, and a 1923 graduate of Salvisa High School. Survivors include: one sister, Rebecca Lay, Harrodsburg; three nieces, Geneva Sanders, Virginia Yeager and Shirleen Yates, all of Harrodsburg; two nephews, William Pinkston, Harrodsburg and John Lay, Danville. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nante Bell Pinkston and Sarah Will Bunnell. Funeral services were held Monday, August 20, at Gash Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceburg with Bro. Jack Geurin officiating. Burial was in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Lay, William T. Pinkston, Tommy Yates, David Wash, George Shelburn and Brennan Boswell.
