Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born in Washington County, he was a son of the late Willie and Hannah Barnett Yeager. He was the widower of Venie Drury Yeager. He was a member of Antioch Christian Church and attended the Kirkland School. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include: two sons, Marvin (Faye) Yeager, Jr., and Larry (Lou Ann) Yeager, both of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Phyllis (Louis) Sea, Lawrenceburg, and Sandy (Kenny Long), Salvisa, 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Gilbert and Carroll Yeager, one granddaughter, Lisa Yeager Dial, five brothers, Cecil, Marshall, Orbrey, Orville and Everett Yeager, two sisters, Erma Hoskins and Oatney Yeager. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 23, at the Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Larry Redding and Bro. David Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Washington County. Pallbearers will be Danny Yeager, Steve Yeager, Anthony Hamlin, Dale Hamlin, Timmy Yeager, Travis Yeager, Jamie Yeager, Chad Crouch and Doug Hazelwood. Honorary bearers will be Jimmy Bowen, Garland Hoskins, Bobby Durr, Jerry Barnett, William A. Miller, Donnie Green, Johnny Mitchell, Jimmy Pearson, Penny Dearinger, Benny Hahn, Carl Hazelwood, Gary Reynolds, James Jackson, and Donald Sexton.
