He was the son of Leonard Leroy and Wandalou Wilson Johnson of Wilmore. He had been an employee of Mclane-Cumberland for several years. Survivors include: one daughter, Crystal Gail Johnson (Kris) Shell, Harrodsburg; a step son, Bobby Lee Johnson, Nicholasville; one sister, Judy Christine Johnson, Nicholasville; one brother, Randall Lee Johnson, Wilmore. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 1, at the Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home in Nicholasville with Leonard Fitch officiating. Burial was in the Wilmore Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmie Lee Johnson, Randall Lee Johnson, Kris A. Shell, Johnny Adams, Daniel Fielder, Marty Baker, William Reed and Mike Johnson. (HH Thu Sep 6, 2001)
