Long, 94, of Louisville, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, August 8, 2001 at his residence. He was a production worker for General Electric and a member of the Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of Plum Masonic Lodge #862, Hiram Grand Council of Kentucky #70, and Eureka Chapter #101. Survivors include: his wife, Ann Parrott Long, Louisville; one daughter, Barbara Hendren, Harrodsburg; two sisters, Mary Gaddis and Juanita Baxter; one brother, Bradley Long; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 11, 2001 at the Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., Louisville. Burial was in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
