Born December 8, 1936 in Lawrenceburg, he was the son of the late Everett and Elizabeth Baxter. He was the widower of Mencie Carlotta Ritchie Baxter. He was a retired employee of Universal Fasteners in Lawrenceburg and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He attended Dry Branch Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, Nathan A. Baxter, Harrodsburg; two brothers, Ken Baxter, TN and Edward Baxter, East Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Alisa Baxter. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 8, at he Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Don Releford officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
