Isham, 70, of Mackville Road, died Saturday, July 28, 2001 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born October 8, 1930 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Leora Gibson Isham. He was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church in Mackville, a retired Corning Glass Works employee, a farmer and veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. Survivors include: three brothers, Robert Lee Isham, Charles R. Isham, and C. H. Isham, all of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Louise Rogers, Harrodsburg and Aline Matherly, Washington County. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 31, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Harmon and Bro. Randy Hawkins officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph Rogers, Jr., William David Rogers, Major Hollis D. Isham, Eddie Bast, Robbie Rogers, John David Rogers, Timmy Rogers, Troy David Rogers and Billy Matherly. Honorary bearers were Jeremy Matherly, Tommy Yates, Rodney Harris and members of his New Harmony Baptist Church Sunday School class. (HH Thu Aug 02, 2001)
