Born September 3, 1917 in Mackville, he was the son of the late Judge William Nelson and Maude Devine Clark. The was the owner of Marshal Clark Auto Sales in Lexington, a 30 year member of Immanual Baptist Church, Lexington, and had received his 50 year Merit Pin as a Mason. He was a World War II Air Force veteran. Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Rogers Clark, Lexington; three step sons, Steve Withrow, Lexington, Mark Withrow, Caldwell, OH, Mike Withrow, Paris; one sister, Jesta Arnold, Harrodsburg; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Clark and a sister, Judy Clark Conn. Funeral services were held Monday, October 22, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Dr. Craig Loscalzo officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sonny Norris, Clark Conn, Phillip Norris, Mark Withrow, Mike Withrow and Steve Withrow. Honorary bearers were the Men’s Sunday School Class of Immanual Baptist Church.
