Born March 9, 1925 in Parksville, she was a daughter of the late Virgil Lee and Viola Johnson King. She was the widow of Raymond Lister. She was retired from Eastern State and Kentucky State hospitals, where she worked as a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Parksville Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Gerald Ray (Julie) Lister, Harrodsburg; one brother, Kenneth D. King, Harrodsburg; one sister, Patricia Reeves, Lexington; one grandchild and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Maxene Lister. Funeral services were held Monday, August 13, at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home in Danville. Burial was in the Parksville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenny King, Kevin Montgomery, Scott Denson, David Denson, Steve Brown and Duane Lister. (HH Thu Aug 16, 2001)
