Webb, 83, of 2624 Bohon Road, Harrods-burg, died Monday, October 15, 2001, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born September 13, 1918 in Laurel County, he was the son of the late Ed and Sally House Webb. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Survivors include: his wife, Louise Scott Webb of Mercer County, one brother, Orland Webb of Mercer County, one sister Mrs. Pauline Ryan of TN; two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a son, William "Bill" Webb and a brother, Herman Webb. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Baldauff officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Willie B. Horn, Garnett Ruble, Bob Richmond, Richard Scott, Mark Johnson, Caroll Burton, Gary Tatum and Wathan Bottom. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. To 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. (HH Thu Oct 18, 2001)
