Wilson, 82, of 1693 Danville Rd., Harrodsburg, died Saturday Oct. 6, 2001 at the residence of her daughter. Born Oct. 10, 1918 in Russell Co., she was the daughter of the Fred B. and Gertrude Cunningham Robertson and was the widow of L.W. Wilson. Mrs. Wilson worked as a retired bookkeeper for Ransdell Funeral Chapel and L. W. Wilson and Sons Contracting. She was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church, past secretary and treasurer. She was a former Sunday school teacher and a former member of the Mercer County Board of the American Red Cross. Survivors include: one daughter, Lois W. Ransdell; three sons, Jerry L. Wilson, Paul A. Wilson and Joe D. Wilson, all of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Royce Felton Robertson, Russell Springs and O.D. Robertson, Albuquerque, NM; three sisters, Hope Tarter, Liberty, Treva Foley, and Geneva Reeves, both of Lexington; 11 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Smith. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, with Ed Orberson and Harold Best officiating. Burial was in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons and honorary pallbearers were grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
