Wilson, 51, of Lexington, died Sunday, September 16, 2001, at his residence. Born March 23, 1950 in Lexington, he was the son of Arthur C. Wilson, Harrodsburg, and the late Joyce Griswold Wilson. A graduate of Henry Clay High School, he was a land surveyor for over 25 years, becoming an Engineering Technician II for LFUCG in New Development Division. A lifelong sportsman, he was an experienced fisherman, hunter, and archer. His creative nature was expressed in photography and woodworking. Survivors include: his wife, Ellen Cotter Wilson, Lexington; one daughter, Christina B. Wilson; one son, Andrew F. Wilson; three sisters, Marecha W. (Jon) Wolcott, Patricia W. (Richard) Shewmaker, and Kim W. (Mark) Corman, all of Lexington. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 21, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, Clays Mill Road, Lexington, conducted by Rev. Kendell Tarleton.
