Webb, 61, of Lexington, died Thursday, August 23, 2001 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born April 2, 1940 in Liberty, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Nim Godbey and Matrie Wesley Godbey Kinder. She was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Education. Survivors include: one son, Anthony Allen Beasley, Lawrenceburg; one daughter, Michele Lynn Phillips, Lawrenceburg; three brothers, Ray Godbey, Frankfort, Floyd Godbey, Harrodsburg, Velmer Godbey, Lawrenceburg; one sister, Flonnie Byrd, Harrodsburg; three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 25, at the Valley Oak Baptist Church in Casey County, with Troy Merrick officiating. Burial was in the Valley Oak Cemetery. (HH Thu Aug 30, 2001)
