Born in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Georgia Ann Carey. She was the widow of Burnett Arms. Survivors include: one sister-in-law, Faye Carey, Mackville; five nieces, Violet Elliott, Springfield, Joyce Kuehr and Judy Carey, both of Louisville; Betty Lou Hanson, CA and Phyllis Banta, Hawthorne, CA; one nephew, Charles Carey, Louisville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Frank Carey and four sisters, Margie Carey, Thelma Robinson, Mayme Huffman Moore and Ora Lou McCormick. Funeral services were held September 25, 2001 at the Rose Hill Abbey Chapel in Tulsa, OK, with Bro. Davy Carter officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Abbey Mausoleum, Tulsa, OK.
