Born March 22, 1925 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late C. E. and Lillian Hale Massie. She was the widow of J. B. Harmon. She had worked as an inspector for Corning Glass Works and was a member of the Bohon Church of Christ. Survivors include: one son, William Ronald “Ronnie” (Mary Jo) Keebortz, Harrodsburg. She was preceded in death by two sons, Carlton B. Keebortz and Lawrence Keebortz, Jr., two sisters, Mary Charlotte Massie and Frances Massie. Funeral services were held Friday, August 31, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Frank Preston officiating. Burial was in the Bohon Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers were William Alvin Burton, Jerry Burns, Phillip Durr, Jackie Claycomb, Winston Preston and Terry Durr. Honorary bearers were grandchildren, Larry, Stephen and Jamison Keebortz, and Jennifer Hammons. Memorials are suggested to the Bohon Church of Christ Building Fund. (HH Thu Sep 13, 2001)
