Born June 27, 1934 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Mary Harris Bruner. She was a retired dietary aide at James. B. Haggin Memorial Hospital and a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church. Survivors include: her husband, Robert Phillips, Sr., Harrodsburg; two sons, Robert Phillips, Jr., Harrodsburg, Billy Phillips, Mercer County; two daughters, Diane Preston, Mercer County, Susan Phillips, Harrison, OH; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 25, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Redding officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Caton, Jeff Gullett, Tim Moore, Travis Yeager, Danny Cox, and Dalton Hurst. Honorary bearers were members of the Harrodsburg Fire Department.
