Hi, Rick Thanks for the reply. Where is Union Co in relation to Johnson Co? Another Ward-Brown coincidence-my Wards, William H. Ward & family, moved from Mercer Co. KY to Johnson Co IN. William's son, Levon (Elevin) married Elizabeth Florence Brown in 1877.(Johnson Co) She was the daughter of Henry V. Brown, b. abt 1828 TN, who was the son of John S. Brown, b. abt 1795 VA. I have had no luck in tracing my John Brown at all, but wonder if he didn't make a stop in Mercer Co between 1828-1831. Adney Ward lived at the resedence of Daniel Brown in Union County, In. Strange coincindence. Adney's father was James Ward m. Mary Riggsby in 1834.
