Ware. He could be a son of Thomas McMurry (son of William and Mary McMurry - the Marilyn Bone book) and Christina Dice Hisner, but I can't prove it one way or the other. Sally T. Ware died in 1837, then Thomas left the children with her parents in Garrard Co. and headed for Missouri. They had 3 sons: Thomas H. McMurry (1834) Tinsley Jackson McMurry (1834 - they were twins) James Emerson McMurry (1836) - my ancestor, married Augusta Ann Jones and raised his family in Mercer Co. Children of Thomas H. McMurry and Elizabeth Bond (maiden name Routt, b. 1832)(Anderson Co.,Ky.): Sarah Belle(1861), Minnie(1863), Tinsley J.(1867), Edward L.(1869), Elizabeth Francis (1872) Children of Tinsley Jackson McMurry and Martha Ellen Young (1844)(Anderson and Woodford Co.,Ky.): James Berry (1869), Louella (1871), J.H. 1873), Lottie(1875), Mary 1877), Sallie D. (1881), Alice D.(1883), Ernest(1885), Lewis E. (1888),Thomas. Family story relates that Thomas came from Ireland. Any help greatly appreciated. Michael McMurray
