Hi, Shannon Well, I don't have anything on Aaron at all, aside from a birthdate of 23Jan1779. That sound right to you? Here's an interesting Hoagland tidbit. John Gritton, in his statement to receive his Revolutionary pension, listed Hoagland Fort, PA as an area where he served. I've seen postings that theorize that Elizabeth Hoagland was originally Elizabeth Hooglandt, whose family was originally from NJ. This is a distinct possibility, as groups of people of Dutch descent migrated to Mercer from NJ (Vanarsdalls, Vandivers, and others), but I also think that if anyone is familiar with PA research that the Hoagland Fort lead is worth pursuing. Who settled it, names of family members, etc. Anyway, I'm interested in Aaron's direct line of descent, and also whether you have any Wards, Veatchs (Veitch, Veech, etc) or Lipseys in your line (that goes for everyone else out there, too!!) Thanks a bunch, and let my know when you're ready for any info from me, and what you want!!! Anne :)
