Surnames: White, Brewer, Allen Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/gBB.2ACI/334.1.1 Message Board Post: My great-grandmother was Louisa White, also daughter of William Woodford White, along with Sally, Clarissa, Carrie, Greenbury, etc. Have photo of WW White's home in Indiana and a photo of "Uncle Green and Aunt Caroline," the latter probably being Carrie. Louisa White married John Brewer, apparently in a run-away marriage on horseback because her family did not want her to marry a widower with kids, which he was. John Brewer died before Louisa; she bought a farm and kept the family together. After her death, her oldest daughter took over; daughter died about 1905. There were three sons. This information is according to the notes of Louisa's surviving daughter, Floy White Brewer (Allen), my grandmother, born in Southport, Ind., died Oklahoma City 1944. Guess we are some kind of cousins. I know Nathaniel is William White's father married to Margaret McFarland. Do you have anymore information that far back or farther?
