He married Agnes Fisher in Mercer Co. about 1797. He was the first jailer in Danville and probably died about 1830. According to one of his daughters in the 1880 census, John was born in PA. Could he have come with other Germans from PA about that time? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Connie
