Since I'm sure Martin was Isaac's son, it follows that Allen was also, tho his marriage bond did not list his father. Several years ago, I got an email from Sharon Welch who had been in contact with Wally Crumlett and had much information different that I had found. This may be where you have become confused. When Lily passed her information on to me, the Irene Best Reid material was missing. I did read part of it in Kentucky, however. I haven't been working on genealogy for some time, and since we moved in Nov. to Grinnell, have not looked at it at all except to answer the queries. Let me know if I can help anymore. Evelyb
