When Lily was in Barnes City she kept it in the bench chair that had a lift up lid. She allowed me to read it once because she wanted to know what George knew about it. I told her, George already knew it as Robert Jones had told him, his grandfather was a 'woods colt" and not a Jones at all. George told me in grade school. We had a project where we had to trace our surname back to the country they came to the states from. When I asked him where the Jones came from, he told me they weren't really Jones. Irene Best found the information in the probate or the land records. When you were in Mercer what information did you find that said the three were brothers? email me would you.
