We have a conflicting date on the marriage of Dr. Harvey T. RAY to Eliza A.W. COZINE, daughter of Cornelius A. Cozine and Jane Vanarsdol. Gen. Index to Marriage licences Mercer Co KY gives Book 1 Page 366, 13 Sep 1830. 1830: Cornelius Cozine gave consent for Eliza A.W. COZINE to wed Harvey RAY. (Marriage bonds and consents of Mercer Co KY pg 113) > "Another entry as copied by the D.A. R. historian, concerned Harvey T. > Ray and Eliza A. Cozine, who were married September 21, 1830  > (footnote 25)" >   > "Footnote 25 -  KY Mercer Co, Marriages 1785 - 1830, pg 58" Maybe one date is the date of the Bond, maybe another is the date of license (required in 1830?), and a third the date of the actual marriage?
