William Obadiah Corn married Sarah and their children were: Mary, Elizabeth, Henry (Harry), Alice, William, and others. I'm the GGGranddaughter to Mary Frances Corn who married George Washington Hurst on October 31,1877 in Mercer County. Most of my family were near or in Cornishville, Mercer County, Kentucky. I would appreciate any information. Thank You.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/gBB.2ACI/2829.1.2 Message Board Post: Some of the threads look interesting. I have a George Corn b. ~1764 who married a Rhoda Jane Williams. His brother Solomon b. ~1750 had Ruth b. ~1778 & Polly b. ~1784, among others. They married respectively Overton, b. ~1776, and Nelson, b. 18 Nov 1787, Harris. It makes me wonder if Overton Corn might have generated from them. Three of Solomon's children went to Dubois Co., IN. If any of this sounds possible, I could add a little more. Bill

Surnames: White, Brewer, Allen Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/gBB.2ACI/334.1.1 Message Board Post: My great-grandmother was Louisa White, also daughter of William Woodford White, along with Sally, Clarissa, Carrie, Greenbury, etc. Have photo of WW White's home in Indiana and a photo of "Uncle Green and Aunt Caroline," the latter probably being Carrie. Louisa White married John Brewer, apparently in a run-away marriage on horseback because her family did not want her to marry a widower with kids, which he was. John Brewer died before Louisa; she bought a farm and kept the family together. After her death, her oldest daughter took over; daughter died about 1905. There were three sons. This information is according to the notes of Louisa's surviving daughter, Floy White Brewer (Allen), my grandmother, born in Southport, Ind., died Oklahoma City 1944. Guess we are some kind of cousins. I know Nathaniel is William White's father married to Margaret McFarland. Do you have anymore information that far back or farther?
