She should be in the same generation as James McKittrick in your chart. She married a JOHNSTON, either John Jehu or Jehu John so I'm told, ca 1819. The Johnstons may have come from SC. This family was in AL by 1830-1840, and in the Coosa/Autauga Co area by 1860. Both died in AL and are likely buried in the Coosa/Autauga/Elmore area. My gr grandmother, Sarah Ann, b 22 JAN 1841, was their youngest child. If you have just a possible match for my gr gr grandmother's name in your files, I'll be so grateful. My gggrandfather's name was Scott Young who married America Stratton. There daughter Mamie Ozella was my ggrandmother. I have been looking for Scott Youngs family for over a year. It's almost like they never was in Mercer Co. I have Scott's and America marriage but that is as far as I have gotten. I know my side of the Youngs was native america because I have 3 handwritten notes that state he was. I just don't know what Scott's parent name was. I was thinking it might be Harvery Young. William's son, Levon (Elevin) married Elizabeth Florence Brown in 1877.(Johnson Co) She was the daughter of Henry V. Brown, b. abt 1828 TN, who was the son of John S. Brown, b. abt 1795 VA. I have had no luck in tracing my John Brown at all, but wonder if he didn't make a stop in Mercer Co between 1828-1831. William Wallace 28 Sept. 1856); Lucy, 16 yo (married ? Lewis Marquet 24 Dec. 1857); Mary J., 12 yo (married? David F. Turner); and Emily T. or F., 5 yo. I have little further information on this family. Nelly= James D. Causby/Cosby: I have nothing on this family other than that it stayed in Kentucky. I think I have the same census records you have. Benjamin D.: Married first 4 Feb. 1822 to Jane C. Ray. Issue: Thomas James, born 10 Nov. 1822, died 30 Nov. 1822; Prunella B., born 17 July 1825, died 16 Aug. 1849, married John Stofir 28 Oct. 1847; Nancy Elizabeth, born 8 Jan. 1829. I have no record of your Elizabeth Dunn Wilson who married Peavler. Benjamin D. married second 18 May 1826 to Dicey E. Vaughn. Issue: John Franklin, born 19 June 1853, died 18 June 1920, married Antoinette Rice 19 Dec. 1878 and Sara Lula Fisher 9 Apr. 1902. (I have pretty good records on some of the descendants); Susan Texas, born 23 Sept. 1858, died 26 Mar. 1866; James McDonald, born 16 May 1861, died 29 Mar. 1931, married Nannie Ella Houston Weatherford 18 Oct. 1883. (I have records of some of the descendants); Benjamin Dunn, Jr., born 23 Aug. 1863, died 1866. Elizabeth Wilson= William McMurry: I have extensive records on this family. Sarah= Charles Redgeway: I have nothing other than what you have on this family. Matilda= John Henderson: Issue: Nancy W. (= William H.Lightfoot. They had Matilda, William who apparently died young, Bettie, Nannie, and Sallie. The oldest child, Matilda (born Mar. 1848) married Albion Wood and they had issue of which I have some records); and John B. on whom I have no records. Lucinda=Robert Jones: I have some sketchy records on this family, based on census reports. There were apparently 9 children, not all of whom lived to adulthood. One daughter, Sarah E. = Samuel Christian and had issue. I DID find newspaper obits on both Robert Jones (born July 1804, died 16 Oct. 1784) and Lucinda (Wilson) Jones (born 1808, died 5 July 1876). Nacky=William J. Evans: Issue: William, born c. 1836 on whom I have no further records; Nancy J., born July 1838, = Columbus J. Rowland and had several children per the census records. The last records I have on them is the 1900 Macon Co., MO census. Hope this helps. If you or any other descendants of Thomas Wilson can add to these records it would be greatly appreciated. I have some records on both Thomas and Nancy (Dunn) Wilson's ancestry back in Maryland, as well as copies of deeds and the marriage bonds for all their daughters.

I have in my records that she was born about 1842 in Mercer Co., KY daughter of Thomas Smithey, Jr. and Harriet Wright. William Woods and Mary had the following children Claude, Jenny, Nora, Gabrilla and Anna. That is the last info I have on this family. As you can see, I just found your message. Richard and Nancy moved from Kentucky to Tennessee, where my great great grand father, Tilghman or Tillman Holt was born. Later, the Holts moved to Missouri. I presume that either Richard or Nancy moved with them (if not dead by then). I have not record of their death places. Tillman's daughters were Frances (Fannie) and Mary Eliza Holt by Martha E Gill. Fannie went to California. My grand mother married Robert Green in St. Louis. The Green's moved to San Antonio.
