    3. Sorry but the communities before the 1912 census & after the 1912 Census have me confused. The Stearns Coal & Lumber Co. employee information has some of their employees listed more than once. The obits may also have them listed as being born in a different place. It's probably the same place but called a different name. But then what do I know? Any help would be appreciated. 1. Where was Nevelsville in 1922 - Pulaski Co., KY or McCreary Co., KY? *Phillips Cemetery, Hilltop-Yamacraw (Nevelsville), McCreary Co., KY It appears that Nevelsville would have been in Wayne Co., KY before the 1912 Census. I'm a little confused - was there a Nevelsville Community on Hwy 27? 2. Going North does Keno, Pulaski Co., KY come before Nevelsville or after? 3. Earl Samuel Childers Per Employee Info. Stearns Coal & Lumber Co. was born in Bee Rock, KY. His siblings born before him were born Eagle Comm, Parkers Lake, Pulaski Co., KY & the ones after him were born in Smithtown, McCreary Co., KY. One was born in Burnside, Pulaski Co., KY. So does anyone have any idea where Bee Rock, KY is???? 4. Is Honey Bee & Bee Rock the same place?? 5. Was Hill Top, KY in Wayne Co., KY before the 1912 McCreary Co. Census??? 6. I'm assuming that Whitley City before the 1912 Census was in Pulaski Co., KY. Does anyone know if that is right? 7. Denny, KY or Denney, KY is located where? Per Employee Info. Stearns Coal & Lumber Co. - On September 12, 1913 Denney's Gap, was in Wayne Co., KY. Is this Denney, KY?? 8. Where's Delta, KY? 9. Was Co-Operative or Co-Op, KY in Wayne Co. before 1912? 10. Where is Buelli, KY? In the large book of Employee Info. Stearns Coal & Lumber Co. the same person was born in Yamacraw, KY So I'm assuming that it was Wayne Co., KY before 1912 Census & McCreary Co., KY after. Does that sound about right? 11. So if the Wolf Creek Comm. of Ritner was in Wayne Co., KY before 1912 is it still Wayne Co., KY after? 12. How close to Fidelity was Shoopman, KY? 13. Before the 1912 Census was Stearns in Wayne Co., KY? 14. How about Griffen, KY - is this Wayne Co., KY or McCreary Co., KY? If it was Wayne Co., KY is it still Wayne Co., KY in the 1912 Census? 15. Is Coopersville & Griffin the same place? Per this man's obit he was born in Wayne Co., KY. Per Employee Info. Stearns Coal & Lumber Co. he was born in Griffin or Coopersville, KY. 16. So where was Dolen, KY located? If it was in Wayne Co., KY before the 1912 Census is it still Wayne Co., KY? Sheesh, no wonder I'm confused! I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get further into this book. Kenna "Remember to the world you are just one person, but maybe to one person you are the world."

    3. Many of the coal camps had two names. One was the name of the mines and then there was the US Post Office. I was born at Fidelity, Ky in 1933 but I think the post office was Shoopman. This double name was also true in Perry County, Ky for at least two coal camps. Allen E. Long
