Today is 9/11/04. Where were you at 8:46, 9/11/01 ? You'll never forget it will you ? Yet it is forgotten today ! Not all of us have forgotten BJ. I would dare to say most of us haven't. As for me I was on vacation in Florida that fateful day. I can still remember going up to pay my breakfast bill at Shoneys and noticing an extra amount of people standing around the television. I remember asking someone what was going on and the reply was, An airplane just flew into the WTC! I looked at the TV set and was paralyzed with shock! Then as I was watching the other plane hit! I remember thinking, "My God this can't be happening!" Out of the blue my mom came up beside me sometime later and asked what I was crying for? I didn't even realize that I was crying and I don't know how long I was standing there! That fateful day and the following weeks that followed full of images on the television, will forever be burned into my brain. The fear for my family because I was so far away, (I live in Ky) and we didn't know what might happen next, will also forever be burned into my soul. ! So yes, I said a prayer today and actually more than one, for all the men, women, children, firefighters, police, and rescue personel that lost their lives that day. I also said a few for their families who I know must have cried more than I did today.
