First of all, I'm interested in learning more about the "1912 census" that was mentioned. What was that, a local count? And I'm looking forward to information on the formation of McCreary County. McCreary County was formed in 1912 from three different counties. These three were Pulaski County which extended all the way to Whitley City, Wayne County which took up all the Yamaha area and Smithtown also I believe, and Whitley Co. which extended to Pine Knot and a little beyond.
