Newton Ambrose Smith b. 1868 in Pulaski CO, KY married Emma Minton on March 27, 1896 in Pulaski CO, KY. They had two children: George Dewey Smith born 1899-1900 in Pulaski County and Richard Olnie Smith born about 1904 Pulaski County. George went by the name of "Dewey" and I believe he was still in Pulaski County in 1930 working for the Gulf Refining Company. Emma Minton died in 1913. She had been married before to Richard Dugger and they had a son Albert Dugger 3/1891 in Pulaski Co, KY She was the daughter of Richard and Annie Minton of the Bunscombe area. They are buried in Mt. Gilead Cemetery Pulaski CO. If anyone on this list is related please get in touch with me or if you have information. I am in the process of getting the tombstones repaired and perhaps they do not know what has happened to Emma's tombstone. I have asked the owner of the cemetery to set them upright again and and he has done that but, he believes that no one cares. I live in Texas but have been going to Pulaski County for the last three years. It is not a matter of money but rather that someone cares. Please if anyone can help, it will be greatly appreciated.
