She enjoyed painting, sewing, scrap-booking, bowling and spending time with her family. She was a member of Brookside United Baptist Church and was an avid reader of the Bible. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 41 years, Dester Gregory. She is also survivors by two sons Johnny Gregory (wife: Tina), Crawfordsville, Eric Gregory (wife: Kathy), Zeeland, Mich.; a daughter, Denise Briggeman (husband: Fred), Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gregory also has four surviving brothers and three sisters, Daniel Coffey (wife: Wanda), Stearns, Ky., Wanda Burke (husband: Willis Hall), Stearns, Ky., Lois Koger (husband: Wendell), Muncie, Kenneth Coffey (wife: Mable), Stearns, Ky., Kelly Coffey (wife: Janet), Muncie, Bob Coffey (wife: Jan), Stearns, Ky., and Doris Coffey, Stearns, Ky. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Parson Mortuary, with Pastor Hoyt Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery. Who was the second husband of Lizette E. Ball, wife of L. J Bryant? What did L.J. stand for? She is in the 1920 Census as Lizette Bryant. I can't find her in the 1930 Census. I have Frona A as a daughter of Peter Coleman Ball and Frances Jane Strunk. I also have an Alice Ball as their daughter and married to Michael Lay. In the 1920 Census Mike Lay has a wife Frona A. In the 1930 Census James M. Lay has a wife Frona A. The children show it is the same family. Is Frona A. actually Frona Alice, and therefore, Frona A. Ball and Alice Ball are the same person, or did Alice Ball marry a different or the same Mike Lay after the death of Frona A.? I hope that is clear. Thanks, Steven C. Perkins
