Hi everyone in Kentucky, especially in Paducah My wife and I are planning a 2 week vacation in Kentucky. I would like to know if there is a main library in Paducah that has a genealogical section where I can look up the birth records for my mother, her siblings, and her parents? Also is there one in the state capital? We here in Louisiana have the Louisiana State Archives Building in Baton Rouge where we have access to birth and death records in La. Where is the comparable building in Kentucky? Also where are these libraries located? Any suggestions on where we should start.
